Andrew had no idea that he was going to open a bible college...

When Andrew Wommack Ministries was incorporated in July of 1978, Andrew had no desire or inclination to open a bible college. Yet, when God spoke to him in 1992 about opening one, he knew that he had to do it.

God put 2 Timothy 2:2 on Andrew’s heart regarding starting a Bible College. In this verse Paul tells Timothy to take the things he learned and commit them to faithful men and women.

Andrew obeyed, God blessed his obedience

After assembling a team of experienced ministers and teachers, Andrew started Colorado Bible College (later renamed Charis Bible College) in Colorado Springs in 1994. Over the years, countless lives have been transformed through the powerful revelation of the simple biblical truths, setting people free from spiritual shackles.
